Therapy and Counselling for concerns such as self esteem, anxiety and eating disorders in North London

photo Feb 2015Therapy with Me

Each of us has a unique capacity and urge to move, with support, towards feeling and functioning well and healing past hurts: it is possible to increase our self-awareness and learn to manage ourselves through the difficult situations in our lives in a more satisfying way.

My approach is warm, responsive, encouraging and practical.   I support you, in your own time and as appropriate, to become more aware of yourself and your patterns, to get in touch with yourself internally and with dialogue and to talk about the painful and difficult aspects of your life.  I will be there to help you express your feelings.

I work with a range of humanistic approaches and ideas including gestalt, expressive anger work, exploration of dreams and metaphor and formative psychology.

 My Training and Qualifications

I am a Graduate of the Spectrum Psychotherapy Training Programme and hold the postgraduate Spectrum Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I now work as a practitioner at Spectrum.     As an Accredited Member of the BACP (MCACP Accred) (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) I am bound by and comply with its Code of Ethics.

One to One sessions are available in Finsbury Park, London N4.   Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £65.  Skype or phone sessions may be possible once we have created a relationship in person.
